Iva is wonderful!
Our son is 18-months old and has been with Iva since he was 3-months old. As first-time parents, we were naturally very apprehensive and worried about leaving our child in the care of a stranger. Iva helped us to gradually ease into the transition from home to daycare by starting out 1/2 days (4 hours in the morning) and gradually working up to a full/8-hour day. Iva is an amazing communicator which also helped to ease our minds. She is wonderful about sending text/photo messages throughout the day and/or speaking over the phone if needed. Iva keeps a "daily log" of your child's day to include nap times, all meals/snacks (including what/how much they ate and drank), as well as a list of activities and the book(s) that they read that day. Not all daycare providers are willing/care to keep a log so this really sets Iva apart from others.
Iva is very proactive about communicating her scheduled personal days and vacation days well in advance. She is also very understanding and accommodating if you need to make small adjustments (15-30 minutes) to drop-off or pick-up times.
It is such an amazing feeling to know that your child is receiving high-quality care in a safe, clean, fun, and educational environment. Iva has an Early Childhood Education background and integrates age/developmentally appropriate activities into each and every day. We know that Iva is engaged with our son each and every day, and she never lets the TV "babysit" him all day.
We are very thankful to have found Iva and we would recommend her to anyone, especially first-time parents.

Our daughter, who is 13 months now, has been in Iva's care for about the last 3 months. We started her part-time for the first couple of months and transitioned to full-time care about a month ago. We would have kept our daughter in Iva's care for a much longer time (probably until she turned three years old), however we are now moving out-of-state.
My wife and I are first time parents and were very apprehensive about putting our child into any kind of care, especially with someone that we didn't know. We searched for a long time for someone that we felt we could trust. We very relieved after meeting Iva, going through the interview process with her, and checking her references that we had found someone that we were comfortable with.
Iva was great about helping to ease us into the process (of starting our baby in day care), and finding strategies to adapt to our daughter's particular needs, as well as our particular needs as parents.
It took about four weeks for our daughter to adjust to being separated from us, since she had always been with us since the day she was born. Leaving her at Iva's was nerve wracking for everyone at first, and we were concerned about how long our daughter would remain upset throughout the morning and afternoon. To put us at ease, Iva was great about sending us regular updates via txt messages and sending photos once Amelia was feeling better. It was a great relief to know that our daughter was settling in each day, earlier and earlier, until drop-off time became a fun experience that we all looked forward to.
We felt that Iva was great at communicating her concerns, receiving feedback from us, providing recommendations on things we could do better, and coming up with strategies for working through concerns that we brought up.
There are so many other positive things we can say about Iva's approach. She is great about organizing new activities for the kids and keeping the day on schedule. She always greets us at the door with day with a warm smile and "good morning", and always sends us off with the same kind of warm "good-bye". Her actions and words always reflected to us that the happiness, well-being, and development of the kids in her care is her only priority during the hours that she's caring for the kids.
So, we gladly recommend her. :-)

I
have been asked to write a letter of recommendation on behalf of Iva. I feel
qualified to do so as I have employed her for several years and I have come to
know her as a competent, resourceful, and caring person. I hope you will
consider me a credible reference and I welcome any inquiries pertaining to Iva.
Iva
provided care for both of my daughters and several other children over the
years that we utilized her day care / pre-school. Iva provided a safe and
structured environment for my children and my husband and I were thrilled with
the results of her care and efforts. Leaving our daughters with her for a
period of nearly 5 years is a true testament to our trust and confidence in
Iva.
Most
importantly, Iva is a caring and trustworthy person. Her integrity and loyalty
is second to none, and I know that she would be an asset to any employer that
she worked for. Please do not hesitate to contact me in the event that you need
further information.

Iva
did a wonderful job with both of our girls. They were both ahead of their
preschool classes when they started. As a working mother it was nice to know
each day that my girls were in a safe and loving environment and that I would
have a report each night letting me know what they ate, games they played,
length of their naps and if any problems occurred.

Iva provided my daughter child care
from ages 3 mo to 3 years. She is also a neighbor of mine for 10 years. Iva is
wonderful with children, as well as communicative with parents. She provides a
safe environment that allows the children to thrive and learn. I can't say
enough good things about her. She is a very honest and genuine person that I'm
happy to say has influenced my daughter's development so positively!

Iva cared for our two daughters for
a year. Everyday, Iva had great activities planned that were fun, engaging and
focused on each child's development. Iva is also great at communicating with
the parents on how the child is doing, what new things they are learning, and
what to prepare for next. She is a terrific resource with her years in the
childcare field!
